Dave Hickey
Office Vice PresidentAs vice president of the Philadelphia office, Dave is responsible for providing operational and financial leadership as well as the strategic vision for BluSky’s Philadelphia Territory. He brings extensive sales and leadership experience with a team-development approach while building reciprocal relationships with partners. Dave believes in driving profitable, sustainable, market share growth by delivering community, customer and partnership first results. Dave started his career in 1996 with Allstate. During his 16 years he held roles in claims, finance and sales. He then spent 8 years with Farmers Insurance serving as the Director of Sales for Pennsylvania, as well as the Director of Strategic Growth for the East Coast. Most recently, Dave worked for Jenkins Restorations where he held roles as General Manager for the Norther Virginia Territory and the National Director of Commercial Sales. Dave is originally from Central Pennsylvania and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Penn State University. He currently leaves in Chester County, PA with his wife, Marcia. Their daughter, Madeline, lives in Pittsburgh and their son, Collin is a Sr. at Penn State. When they aren’t spending time in State College, Dave enjoys running, biking and swimming.
